After feedback from the local community regarding the rising costs of living including heating our homes, the Town Council has again started offering warm and welcoming sessions for people to drop-in and use throughout the colder, winter months.
The warm welcome encourages those living and visiting our Town to take rest, engage socially (not mandatory) and keep warm in safe spaces within a few minutes’ walk from Yate Shopping Centre and public transport routes.

Accessibility and sustainability were key to the refurbishment and new design. The new equipment is suitable for a range of different abilities, encourages imagination and social play and features materials that are sustainable and climate resilient.
